A Guide for Cardigan

You've invested in a quality garment, and with just a little care, your cardigan can last for years! This simple guide shares our best tips for keeping it in perfect condition. We took the factory's advice and tested it ourselves, so you know these guidelines are actually practical for your daily routine, not just something you read on a tag.

The most recommended method is always hand-washing, but let's be honest, that's not always realistic for a busy life. The good news is you can absolutely use a washing machine. Just make sure to always use a laundry bag. For the best protection, wash in gentle mode and put only one cardigan in each bag. This small step makes a huge difference, preventing the cardigan from snagging on other items or getting pulled as the machine spins

Hanging guide.

We always recommend flat-drying your knitwear. Hanging it can cause the wet fabric to stretch, pulling the piece out of shape.

As a Last Resort

We understand that life can be busy. If flat-drying is absolutely not an option, you may use a tumble dryer under these strict conditions only when necessary and on rare occasions:

For emergency machine drying, please use a NO-HEAT or AIR-DRY setting for a short period. If your dryer does not have these options, you may use the tumble dryer on the absolute lowest heat setting for a maximum of 10 minutes. The goal is to remove excess dampness, not to dry the garment completely. Always remove the garment while still damp and lay it flat to finish drying.

Please Be Aware: Any use of a machine dryer may cause minor shrinkage and can affect the signature texture and luxurious feel of Suvin cotton over time. We recommend this method for emergencies only.
